Актуальность проблемы

Ментальная инвалидность – это нарушение психики, она влечет снижение интеллекта с рождения или в результате заболевания. Инвалид с ментальными нарушениями – это человек, страдающий заболеваниями, которые снижают когнитивные способности: шизофрения, эпилепсия, клиническая депрессия, дефекты речи и др. Многие люди с ментальными нарушениями изолируются от общества и не всегда по своей воле, многие окружающие люди не готовы принять их. Однако человек с отклонениями в развитии не перестает быть частью общества, и ему следует принимать в его жизни активное участие. Кроме медицинской помощи, основной потребностью граждан с ментальной инвалидностью является нормальное существование, то есть реализация права на реабилитацию, образование, отдых и занятость.

Ситуация стала меняться с открытием отделений дневного пребывания для инвалидов. У них появилась возможность выйти из дома и обрести свое сообщество. Люди с инвалидностью познакомились друг с другом, завели друзей, вместе отмечают праздники и важные события. Специалисты всевозможными способами занимаются их социализацией и реабилитацией, придумывают все новые формы и методы работы, чтобы как можно улучшить результат социализации. Однако следует расширять перечень умений и навыков, развивать кругозор и делать их жизнь более интересной. Образовалось свое сообщество инвалидов и в отделении обеспечения дневного пребывания Стародорожского ТЦСОН. Отделение посещает 31 человек с особенностями в развитии и 19 из них – это люди с ментальными нарушениями.

Фотография – это та посильная деятельность, которой могут заниматься инвалиды этой категории. Более того это поможет более успешной социализации, так как им постоянно придется контактировать с окружающим миром через объектив. Мир через объектив глазами ментального инвалида может быть очень интересным и для обычного человека, так как он смотрит на мир другими глазами. Современная техника позволяет сделать тысячи, миллионы снимков. Но почему одни задерживают внимание зрителя, заставляют задуматься, иногда и представить целую историю по одному кадру. По другим, скользнув взглядом, сразу забываем? Некоторые вызывают недоумение своей пустотой, бессодержательностью. А что видят наши инвалиды? Какой у них взгляд на этот мир?

The relevance of the problem

Mental disability is a mental disorder, it entails a decrease in intelligence from birth or as a result of a disease. A disabled person with mental disorders is a person suffering from diseases that reduce cognitive abilities: schizophrenia, epilepsy, clinical depression, speech defects, etc. Many people with mental disorders are isolated from society and not always of their own free will, many people around them are not ready to accept them. However, a person with developmental disabilities does not cease to be a part of society, and he should take an active part in his life. In addition to medical care, the main need of citizens with mental disabilities is a normal existence, that is, the realization of the right to rehabilitation, education, recreation and employment.

The situation began to change with the opening of day care units for the disabled. They had the opportunity to leave home and find their own community. People with disabilities get to know each other, make friends, celebrate holidays and important events together. Specialists are engaged in their socialization and rehabilitation in all possible ways, come up with new forms and methods of work in order to improve the result of socialization as much as possible. However, it is necessary to expand the list of skills and abilities, develop their horizons and make their life more interesting. A community of disabled people was formed in the day care department of the Starodorozhsky shopping center. The department is attended by 31 people with developmental disabilities and 19 of them are people with mental disorders.

Photography is a feasible activity that can be engaged in by disabled people of this category. Moreover, this will help more successful socialization, since they will constantly have to contact the outside world through the lens. The world through the lens, through the eyes of a mentally disabled person can be very interesting for an ordinary person, since he looks at the world with different eyes. Modern technology allows you to take thousands, millions of pictures. But why do some people hold the viewer's attention, make them think, and sometimes imagine the whole story in one frame. For others, glancing at them, we immediately forget? Some people are puzzled by their emptiness, meaninglessness. And what do our disabled people see? What is their view of this world?

- to promote the expansion of the skills and abilities of people with disabilities, to develop their horizons;

- to support the creative activity of people with disabilities.

Target group: persons with disabilities attending the day care unit for the disabled

Brief description within the project:

- purchase of 5 cameras;

- purchase of photo frames and exhibition easels for organizing exhibitions;

- teaching children the art of photography;

- organization of photo exhibitions.
